Achtung! Achtung!

Post by Trev Clark »

There is a very nice little Me108 (yes the comms aircraft, not the 109 fighter) at the site of its designer here...
http://www.gkflusi.de/index.php?option= ... elect&id=3
There are also some repaints too, nice (modern, as it represents the aircraft flying today) VC and it is for FS9.

There is also a 109 at that site.

Plus EC135/EC14/Bo105 helicopters (not all for FS2004)

Probably like Trev spotted this on the Outhouse.

Calypso's thread seems to have been prompted by one over at the Outhouse where they seem to specialise in 'discovering' planes that have been knocking about for years. (Probably something to do with the inability to look through any site that isn't in English(or American) and the inability to effectively use a search engine. :) ) I suppose they'll also 'discover' one day that the same designer also has a pretty nice "Cirrus SR20" as well on his books.

I find stuff from all over the place and may well have found it at the SOH, however I think it is really a matter of informing people who may not have the time or inclnation to go searching the entire WWW for odd bits of freeware.

I make no real apology if you think it is old news, if it helps one person discover something good, then it is worth the small effort of a post here. :kissu:

True Trev

Similar thing to the Valmet - I have a real soft spot for odd little one offs form all over - as the members of VHA come from
all over the world - Its was through one of them that I discovered the joys of VOZ, and have just found a veritable little
gold mine of Indonesian scenery thats been around for ever and day but gets little publicity anywhere from what I can find :)

I trawl the web for information (As I know you do) But still miss some really good stuff, I was thankful when you posted the
reminder - as I had lost the website address for the Me108 and was pleased to find some other paints there for it

Cheers and please keep posting the ecletic stuff :)

Sorry if I 'yanked' a string Trev - wasn't aimed at you. You don't actually have to go deep sea fishing to find these planes -indeed all the ones recently posted at Outhouse are on the major sites i.e. Avsim, Flightsim.com. Maybe sites should have a 'sticky' listing great freeware.
