Ummm, no wonder Mrs T gave you it early and before she went away.
You took up all the space on the table!!
Wonderful Tonks, sadly I do not think that I would have the patience to mount a challenge as big as that.
Nigel.

Re: My Ultimate Toy
I have to say they're quite large. Sadly all my lego resides in two or three boxes in our garage...
I'm trying to work out how I'm going to get the new 1/72 VC10 past Mrs HC! I've negotiated another display cabinet (awaiting the trip to Ikea), but the 10 would be in another league (and oddly enough doesn't fit in a cabinet)!

Re: My Ultimate Toy
Lovely stuff Mr.T and a very nice and personal collection. Lovely to have models of many of your big firsts. My really big first was divorce! LOL... hope there are no models of that kicking about.... My first kit wat a Lockhead F104 by Matchbox. I was about 10 and the paper shop had one.... I saved up my pocket money for a few weeks and bought it one Sunday morning with my dads papers (Times, Mirror + News of the World) LOL Funny the things you remember. I snuk it into my room and built it on the quiet, I had no paints. Mum found it and showed it to dad a few weeks later; he seemed really pleased and helped me a lot with painting my next one... The Jaguar. He was much more patient than me and was great with painting. I think my favourite was the Airfix Vulcan, it was certainly my biggest. I remember Dad got some mini "flood lights" from a scalextric or hornby set and we set them up on top of the chest of drawers so they lit up the Vulcan when I went to bed... very happy times! xsmile
