I have to confess that 'on the mend' is NOT how I feel at the mo. The 'usual' 6hrs of numbness and dribbling is already being replaced by pain and the psycological scar of the bill is making it worse :'( I'll get over it. Another 5p on a pint should take the sting out of it

Well Dave, I guess it depends what you are used to
Yup.. I suppose that sums it up exactly Peter. I'm sure also that your years of instrument flying as both a fighter and an airline pilot come in useful :) I was going to suggest that you try a carrier landing onto Ark Royal using the 2D panel but I doubt that'd be an issue ;-) It IS for me unfortunately and carrier ops is where 99.9% of my Vixen flying has been done xwink

Hmmm...I know the feeling, but from some time ago when I still had my own teeth  I seem to remember that swilling some neat Scotch around the mouth had a pretty soothing effect

Anyway, I wish you a speedy recovery Dave.

Re the lights.....I did notice this odd arrangement and report it, but Brian explained the dual use (for flaps and airbrake) of this indicator , so I let go I am afraid :$ :$ :$
Still, if that is the only thing so far, we may be lucky, I doubt if many customers will have the experience Peter has ;-) Oh, in our defence (not that I think it is really needed), we only had half a manual sent in the last week of testing, so were working blind. That said it was great fun to watch the model evolve over 9 months  .

Hi Trev..

Let's put it this way..

We don't have a dodgy fuel system.. it doesn't stall at over 400kts.. gear bay doors don't buckle and wheels don't pass through them.. there's no impressive re-heat glow.. wingfold works on wingfold assignment.. tailhook works on tailhook assignment.. e t c

;-)

One thing I will note, in ALL screenies that have appeared so far the aircraft is 'clean'. Beginning to wonder if the external stores switches are not obvious enough. They're the ones on the top row of the right hand switch panel.

Hi Brian, I noticed that too; when I installed my full version this morning, I was suprised that there was no mention of any 'read me' or instructions........ or how to find them  .
I wonder if this should be changed, the manual is an HTML document within the aircraft folder BTW, should any owner want to find it, it helps a great deal ;-)
