That's a cracking screenshot, Tony. That's what Kai Tak was all about. That's the spirit. And don't forget in the 9dragons manual the bit about turning OFF crash detection. It must be there for a reason :lol: I'll bet the driver of the DC10 had read that in HIS checklist :lol:

Seeing sound a/c taxying past broken ones reminds me of an incident in the 70s at Heathrow. PanAm and BOAC were great rivals and PA's advertising slogan at the time was "The world's most experienced airline". One day a PA 707 had buried itself in the grass and a BOAC Captain announced, as he glided past, "Those of you on the left hand side will see the world's most experienced airline having yet another experience".
