First off, let me say that I have been cruising by this forum for several months, and I admire the respect shown to all who post here.. There is a real 'family' feel to this place.. Second.. I am a great admireer of both Rick Piper (HS748) and David Maltby (everything) .. I have been flying these aircraft for as long as they have been out, and they all beat any payware products I have in my hangar.. I am also a great fan of CalClassics and all of the great propliners offered there.. I am eagerly waiting the Bristol Frieghter and the Heron (I quite enjoy a quick little hop in the DH104 dove)..

Now to the reason foe this post.. I have downloaded and installed the Canberra (pack 1/5 and 5/5).. Is there any documentation available for this aircraft.. It is great to fly, but knowing the numbers makes this experience much more enjoyable.. Useful load, power settings, altitude capability, fuel flows, flap extend speeds, approach speeds.. Is there something out there ??.. Have I missed it somewhere..

Hi Glenn

Interesting you mention the Freighter. Apart from the Silver City Aircraft transferred to thier French counterpart only one Superfreighter flew in non British marks.

This single aircraft (CF-QWJ) was sold by Midland Air Cargo to Lambair, but details of it's use are very sketchy

When it crashed after an engine failure on take off on 31st May 1974 it was the last Superfreighter in existance.

If you know of, or come across any information on this aircraft please pass it on as I'd love to know more about it's use in general. All I really have is off a Lambair site and it's has pics of it but no real, in depth detail of the aircraft.

Gary... My mistake.. When I looked at the screen shots, I mistook the aircraft as a 170 frieghter, which I actually flew on in my early days when up in the Arctic (1973).. The aircraft was operated by Wardair, and you can see a picture of it at airliners.net.. I searched the Canadian aircraft registry, and found reg C-FQWL, but it has been recyled to another aircraft..

Tony.. Many thanks.. This is quite a site.. Wish I spoke Norwegen (I think).. I would not mind spending a few dollars at his (eBay) WebShop.. Particularly the Bristol Brittania.. This is another aircraft that I would love to add to Rick Piper's Viscount, Vanguard and Argosy.. Did I see a proposed new project in the Gallery for this ??.. I have Mike Stone's version combined with a great panel, but it lacks external detail that I have become used to with other freeware developers.. Then again, I should not complain, as I lack this skill.. I like the role of a test pilot; make things better..

Ah.interesting that you used to fly the 31

There is no mechanical differnce between the 31 and 32 only the five foot nose extension and the increase in the fin and dorsal height

I'm not familar with CF-QWL. There is a Wardair machine on a pole at Yellowknife.

Do you have anything left over from your days on the type??
