Yet another head's up....

Post by AndyG »

.....a Boulton-Paul Partridge, submitted for the F9/26 requirement for a Siskin/Gamecock replacement, which was eventually filled by the Bristol Bulldog.

I don't have any screenies yet, and I won't post the Outhouse link as Garry will smack my legs again, but it looks like this could be worth a download. Fingers crossed for a few more interwar bipes, some real gems still to be modelled! :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

Well, it looks ok, I think I can find room in my Golden Wings install for it!

I have this very nice book from a few years back, about RAF single seater fighters, and there are some lovely illustrations in there of the interwar fighter projects. There were some lovely little aircraft around which would be nice to see, like the Gloster F5/34, some of the Vickers projects (especially the 123, the Jockey and the Venom) - guess I'll have to put them on my list!!

Back in the heady days of FS98, there was a rather nice freeware Westland Wizard, too.

Downloaded it yesterday afternoon. While not 'payware' quality, she's still put together quite nicely, and a hoot to fly. Absolutely a keeper, with or without GW3. :welldone:

Bob

Did I mention she's cute?

Did I mention that this was a Bill Holker production?
