DAKOTA INFO
Yesterday I was sitting in a carpark by the gliding airfield at Honeybourne, Worcestershire. I heard a familiar sound. Looking up I saw a DC-3. It was painted totally red except for what looked like a silver bulge under the fuselage. It did a couple of high circuits then went off east presumably towards Coventry.
I have looked up on Airliners Net for UK DC3's and cannot find any painted like that. Anybody know whose it is?

Re: DAKOTA INFO
Hi Simon..
A blind guess would be that it's one of Air Atlantiques from Coventry.. that or it's the BBMF's Dak. AA regularly paint em up in one-off liveries appropriate for what work it's doing. The BBMF aircraft is Camo with Pegasus on the nose

Re: DAKOTA INFO
Thats what I thought. I quite often see their daks as I work an area covering Warwickshire, Worcestershire and a sizeable chunk of Gloucestershire. It's nice to see and hear them whoever owns them.

In which case it was the AA's newly repainted G-ANAF, which is now bright red, and has the radome under the fuselage as shown in its old white scheme below:
