Wonderful photos Tony, may be wrong but looked like a bit of rain to the right of the 2nd picture, either that or the cloud base was lower. Hoped you had a good day.

Not at all bad. Last time I had a Rapide flight at Duxford was around 1996 in the same aircraft, and I seem to remember it was £25 then. £7 increase in 10 years in't bad going.Techy111 wrote:What a lovely old bird....and what a great flight in her......all for 32 quid.....a bargain.......

Re: My Day at Duxford....
That went up to £30 for adults and £25 for children then they abolished the childrens fare. I suppose it helps with running costs as well as keeping adult fares down but it's rather pricey if you want to take the sprog along too :-(

Fortunately (ATM) one is sprogless and Mrs C has developed an allergy to airshows...DaveB wrote:That went up to £30 for adults and £25 for children then they abolished the childrens fare. The child fare is actually still there , I know because Tony needed someone to carry his bags for him whilst there and insisted in calling me his 'maid'. Bloody cheek! I look nothing like his maid!
