I've missed the chance to get Early Bird tickets online, but hope to get them at a local Tourist Information office.
My home town isn't too far from the Cotswolds and Kemble is one of the closest major airfields (Filton being the other)... but I left home many, many moons before Kemble Air Day started going! I still plan to stay locally though, to get an early start on Sunday morning. Hoping to check out the static VC-10. Now that MoD is making major steps towards it's replacement I can sense it's impending retirement.

What a bummer it's fathers day though. I doubt very much I can wangle the time off for that as we're likely to be busy
If you guy's go.. please DO go and visit the 10.. AND Tonks as you'll be unlikely to miss him. He'll be the one with TONKS on his flying ovies ( I kid ye not! ) ;-) Just don't ask him anything too technical unless you have an hour or so to withstand the answer (and I mean that in the most sincere sense) ;-)
Sunday, June 15th? (checks calendar) I'm free! (checks bank account for sufficient funds for Dallas to London flight + cab fare from Heathrow to DaveB's house ;-)) Argh! I'm a little short right now. :doho: Oh well, looking forward to the pics taken by the lucky few who go to the show.
Gordon & I will be there from Skysim. I used to work at Kemble in the 70's and have tried many times to attend the air day, this year I've made it, look forwards to seeing you there!
Yes we're having a stall. And yes it is possible to recognise CBFS members very easily, look for the blank fixed gaze, usually focused at about 18-20 inches (Monitor distance) and hands fixed in the joystick and throttle positions
