Rotation speeds

Off-Topic but slightly relevant;

Most of my flying these days is on 727s. One gets used to the calls during the take-off run being;

V1
Rotate
V2

With all 3 coming in the space of a couple of seconds.

Yesterday I needed to do a trip on a Diesel-8 though & it reminded me of something I'm not overly keen on about the '8. The calls in that being;

V1

(dum-de-dum)
...
...
...
Rotate (at f'ing last!!)
...
V2
