New Trident Book
Hi Chaps..
There's a new Trident book available over at Amazon.. TRIDENT: A HISTORY by Dr Frank McKim. Think I'll be adding this to my collection as there are so few Trident books available. Just type either Dr Frank McKim or TRIDENT into the Amazon search engine and it'll pop up. Currently priced at £12.59.. a 30% saving over the standard retail price ;-)

Re: New Trident Book
Hi Tony..
Have a look in the 'New and Used' section. I found one there 'New' for £9.25 +£2.50 shipping (which is probably gone now unless the seller had more than one!!) but the one below was £9.30 and also new if I remember right ;-)

Re: New Trident Book
I found it a very disappointing book.
What does anyone else think?
Brendan.

Re: New Trident Book
I have one of those in the crew room on EP. Interesting reading for the very nerdy (or is that nurdy??) among us!
I know of only one other Trident book.. the much read and long out of print 'H.S.Trident' by Max Kingsley-Jones. I managed to get a copy some years ago from Canada and this was the only copy I found available :o I have no idea what this new one is like but with so little Trident info in print.. most will consider it a must have. There is always something new that turns up as it's simply not possible to cover every aspect or minute bit of info in one single publication and I've no doubt the new book will be no different ;-)

Re: New Trident Book
I obtained it even cheaper - walked into Colchester Library Saturday morning and found it on the shelves and, I was the first lender!
Frankly, think the previous book is more comprehensive although, in this new publication, some nice anecdotes and brings the preservation story relatively upto date.
