Re: The new Mossie from JF any good?
Hi all
I have just bought the Mosquito and it looks and flies impressive. The BIV is excellent but can someone please tell me why the FBVI and XVIII still have the BIV bomb bay and doors when the front half were taken up by cannon breeches and cartridge case ejectors. looks like a massive cock-up which I am surprised JF allowed to go on sale!
regards, Peter Watkins

Hello Garry
Yes I have emailed JF about this. I am awaiting their reply - should be interesting! This is a big shame as the aircraft looks quite good from above and side, just silly from the underside (which is what I said in my email)!
cheers, Peter

I think I am correct in thinking that JF (just) market this, and AH are the designers.

Re: The new Mossie from JF any good?
I have received a response from JustFlight saying that Aeroplane Heaven are the designers and that 'they ran out of polygons for the model and therefore could not include those extra details in the bomb bay on the variants in question'. I responded with the statement that surely they could have just redesigned the bomb bay doors even if they did not have the cannons inside the bay. At least it would have looked alright from the outside.
The bottom line is that it was not an error but a conscious decision to put out a knowingly inaccurate model on to the market
Not impressed.

TBH they could have said that in the package and at least you would not have wasted time finding out :@

Seems rather lame to me. Surely it would have been better to run out of poly's with the correct shaped doors  In the words of that imortal Red Indian.. 'Many Buffalo pass this way'

Yes indeed.. or at least from page 1 of the tech support managers manual ;-)
Edit.. Just a thought.. we could get Rick to rerelease the Meatbox T7 as an NF11 and when asked by punters about the lack of long nose.. we can say 'He ran out of Poly's'
