Although this was a travel company that went down wonder how many airlines may follow as XL Travel also had aircraft.

I love the way the press portray him as some sort of hero.


Surely he's just doing his job, just like any other airline pilot. He's got a good PR machine behind him, I'll give him that. :)

He was......he was sent there by the airline as a job

It does make it sound almost like he organised it :dunno:

I bet Astreaus knew what they were doing when they sent him :lol: :lol:

He does say in that interview (first link) that he works for the airline and is told where to go. The only folk making anything of it are the media.. but isn't that oft the case :roll:
