Hi Guy's..

Yup.. that's the correct postcode ;-)

I've since learned that the boys tried to motor all 4 engines over on Saturday and while #1 took some electrical load, it failed to turn. Could be the starter motor.. could be the brushes have either worn or decided to hang. This, unfortunately, is a consequence of them not being run enough :-( I've suggested that to run the other 3 would still be a good idea but without fire cover.. we're stumped. We have a new fireman who is more than willing to make himself available for motor-overs but he threw his Ducati down the road a couple of weeks ago and will be absent for a few more weeks yet :-(

Deary me.. so close and yet so far :'( Damn.. damn.. DAMN :@

Well mate.. DG is missing 4 vital components to make that happen. I'm sure you can guess what they are  I'm sure that A4O would do a better job as we sit almost directly behind her ;-)

It's a REAL wind up it is. There are Three Hundred and Sixty Five days in a year and we manage to run the engines twice.. on one day. Fire cover.. what fire cover!

Why is it that everything has to be so hard nowadays

There are just too many tick boxes on the modern forms and it is becoming impossible to live with :@
