FSX, Vista and DX10 were all patched, but fork out for an SSD now and you're stuck with it. :-(emfrat wrote:Sounds like FSX, or Vista, or DX10..... :-( :roll:Chris H wrote:It's most definitely the future, but it really needs another 12-24 months in the oven.

not suggesting as an option for you James, but just saw this which I might give a punt to at some point in the future.

Yep Chris and I commented on them too, but did realise you could get one for under a ton. If i do get one it will be expensed as "developement testing" lol I don have £89 of my own cash to throw arround on anything as new as this.

You did as well. Here's me assuming you hadn't read the thread when in fact I hadn't.Ben Watson wrote:Yep Chris and I commented on them too, but did realise you could get one for under a ton. Id be inclined to say and get internal HDD... Im fully WD Raptor/Velocie Raptors at 10,000 RPM they are super quick and SATA interface. I know a 300GB one will set you back nearly £200 but darn its got to be worth it if they watch up with your system MOBO interface etc...
