Nigel #1 -

What a terrible experience that must have been! Makes me cold just reading your post. I think I might have had more than a few choice words to say when I got to the depot! :@

Had a few choice words to say when I eventually got back home as my wife had no idea of where I was and had kept ringing my depot.
My God Nigel!

I think that experience might have made me think seriously about changing my occupation :o

Well I only left the door open on that shot, to show how the pilot on these Dreamfleet aircraft is removeable and doesn't have to sit there all night...Mind you, in those conditions with my clothing, I would probably have lost the odd extremity to frostbite, on the walk to warmed accommodation :worried:

Nigel2 and Peter.

Just a quick footnote regarding that experience, my company did compensate me for my ordeal in that my manager said he would pay me the full 27hrs for the breakdown plus the 2 days that I was driving on the delivery. Also a letter will be sent to the other depot!!

Can't think of many haulage companies that would have done that.

Regards
Nigel.
