Re: UK BST....
Hi Folks
EDIT -
Following is for FSX
Just realised I hadn't explicitly said that.
For info -
Changes are month by month, (applied on last day of).
SDK info
Seasons
There are five seasons: Spring (SP), Summer (SU), Fall (FA), Winter (WI), and Hard Winter (HW). The main difference between the two winter textures, WI and HW, is the snow on the ground in Hard Winter. Seasons are different across the world at any one time, and this information is held by Flight Simulator for the 12 months of the year. Seasonal information does not vary at all in the simulation within a month, and changes on midnight at the end of the month to the new season. The following table shows the season information for four months of the year. Note that green identifies summer, yellow is spring, red is fall, grey is mild winter, and white is hard winter.
To view the season information using TmfViewer, first load up the image_globe.bgl file from Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery. Note that the first image loaded into this tool is always opaque. The next images loaded can be drawn transparent, so the outline of the countries/regions and continents shows through.
Next load up the seasons.bgl file from Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Base\Scenery. Use the View menu to select the various months of the year.

Re: UK BST....
Hi Paul..
That's absolutely spendifourous mate. However.. GMT was (at that point) in the 1700's not the 16's though it has to be said the CI's were reading correct, that is, local UK time or BST as it is now  I'll start it up again at the end of October and see what happens

FSX - Seasons - Europe & N Africa
Hi Folks
Sorry Dave,
I was responding to Tony's original post. :prayer:
Here's something I'd collated during beta testing.
Seasons Test
A collection of FSX screenies
displaying a years worth of month-by-month
landclass changes for Europe & N Africa.
Screenies are taken at midday,
on the 21st day of each month, (covers equinoxes),
all from the same "satellite" viewpoint.
Additionally indicates the daylight/lattitude changes.
To view as individual shots -
please see FSX Seasons->Europe & N Africa screenies.
Or for easier/detailed inspection,
download as a zipped package from FSX - Seasons - Europe & N Africa
For ease of sequential viewing
screenies are named - S_YYYYMMDD_Month.jpg
e.g. S_20060121_Jan.jpg
Month is identified in bottom righthand corner.
Recommend XnView or similar
to view these sequentially.
Download from - XnView with plugins
