To tell the truth, I'm a bit nervous about flying to Anchorage now. With all that ordnance, I'm not even sure that giving PAMA a wide berth will help much. I might have to pick a moonlit Saturday night and go in under the radar! The first that airport manager will know about it will be this view from his bedroom window! That'll give him something to Hmmmpphhh about!

Excellent Peter!

Ian... I'm sure that PAMA's manager would be only too pleased to take you up for a little sightseeing in Little Bandit..... I'm sure you would 'appreciate' the aero involved.... rumour has it that the roof above the passenger seat slides back.......

Well, if he was feeling really brave I could give him a ride like this:-

How could Ian turn down an offer like that? :flying:

And no-one has mentioned the perimeter guard vehicles yet, so if Ian was thinking about heading up with some wire cutters, he'd have the floodlights and APC fleet to contend with!

Arggg!...Fencing reminds me that will eventually have to fence Stradishall

Stollies! well I first used them when I was surveying for the Military side of PAMA:-

Then the dreaded fencing:-

and finally the security lights:-

Jim...I get the strong impression that I'm being dragged along on this thread...So I'll make this the last :flying:

Well Peter, you are correct, but it's all in good fun ;-) I'd forgotten about you chopper sequence. Of course, there's a 'spooky' area for Ian to contend with as well, and another little thing not mentioned unitl now, is Hermes and some RN jets providing backup off-shore!

Poor old Ian, so busy trying to make a buck or two either as a pilot or airport manager that he misses the good things in life!!
