Payware Rapide

Well great though it is that someone should make a payware model of a subject I'm actually interested in, I think I'll stick with the classic DG version!

Anyway just for info chaps

Been mentioned earlier this week, strange choice of model, as from the screenshots I think DG's looks much sharper

No.. I don't see anything there over and above DG's model (including the v2 FS9 version). It's possible that TM was based on a 'snapshot' in time but I'm not convinced of the accuracy of the paint. Odd as this is one of the most photographed Rapides of all time!

Now.. if only they'd made a Dragon :-(

DG hinted that he'd take a look.. one day.. and he's my best hope. Thing is.. it'd be FSX only :'(

Truth of the matter is.. I'd have bought that Icarus model had it been a Dragon!

TBH..looking at the screen shots the textures lack 'life'. Greys used instead of silver dope and colours that seem to lack vibrancy.

Just has a general lackluster look about it.

'TM' has never looked like that in it's life!

A bit of a shocker on all accounts this one, stick with DG's!

the only important thing is that all people buying dragon liked it a lot...if you haven't tried how you can comments something?

only comments as those were from people havent tried...that says a lot...luckily we have all people that bought our new fsx era aircraft that buy all the rest.

As in other forums the lawyer of the freeware or people didnt tried have to comment....just boring...change attitude.

Hi Icarusgold

Bear in mind a couple of things

We here have studied the type extensively and one of the comment is from someone who has been involved in operating it

It is a fact that it does not look quite right. You are welcome to disagree with our opinions but our opinions they are and we stand by them

We pride ourselves on being fair and if something deserves praise it gets it.

Your diplomacy does you credit Garry. I for one wouldn't dream of going onto someone elses forum and tell them to 'change attitude'

Ah well.. he's saved me a few quid for the future cause if they DO release a Dragon.. I won't be buying it on principal ;-)
