No.. the engineer remained anonymous (I bet he's chuffed about that too) Nice story though.. heard many similar such stories from the boys at Brooklands ;-)

Oops! You are right. Keith Lomax was a passenger on the flight and not the engineer. Seems like the older I get, the slower I need to read to get the details right.
