Does anyone else here have "Rise of Flight"...I have had it for some time and it has been updated a few times. However, I can not get any further than this:-

This sim has two very attractive videos as promotion material and I was very tempted to purchase a copy shortly after release. However a lot of the initial comments indicated major problems in persuading the program to work so I did not buy ROF. Currently there seem to be very few positive comments on the web and I have not heard of any fixes or patches being available or in sight. Pity because the graphics look superb!!

It really is ridiculous when one cannot persuade the aircraft out of the hangar!!

Hi Peter

I have ROF and love it

there have been at least 2 patches (auto updates for me)

got a bit annoyed with it because every time they do an update it removes my throttle assignment from the joystick and requires a manual entry to get it working again.

otherwise it's superb.

the other thing is that you have to buy all the flyable planes like the Se5a etc which after spending a fair bit buying the sim seems wrong to me *-)

looks like you are missing the menus so i guess it's onre of the windows installer parts your missing mate.

the support forum is pretty helpful (has been for me)

I did get 23 kills in the fokker but got killed when i landed badly back at base at Rouen

Regards
Rick
