Just a thought.....your pondtube proberly is set for standard aspect ratios...?
No, I'm strictly 4:3 here!

I've made four attempts this morning to upload my flightsim video of a VC10 landing at Kai Tak. As it's in widescreen I thought it would be interesting to see how it displays. It's a 49.6Mb wmv file but it won't upload. The progress bar runs across a few times and it eventually times out and goes to a 'page not found' screen. I think the video's OK because I've uploaded it to my own site and it streams fine from there (http://www.speedbird747.com/videos/Movie_0002.wmv).

Just had a quick look over at the Pond and the video hosting looks great. Layout is really clean an easy to use
Hope you can sort the teething troubles without too much hassle mate

Cheers Ben. It's not something I really understand that well so with a bit of trial and error, and a lot of luck, it'll get there i'm sure!

Speedbird, I shall have a try with your file myself and see why it won't take it.

Rob.

Looking at my two pictures above...It is clear that the first is 4:3 but the other is actually Square!

Here is the video that failed to upload for me...It stops with an I/O fault at about 95%:-

What a gorgeous video, Peter! Stunning colours, lighting and effects. The flying, as one would expect, is masterful ;)

But a message from the tower. Would you pop in for a quick word before heading for the bar?

Ian

I expect they just wanted to give me a photo of that Derry Turn in front of their windows (it's location is not too apparent in the video).

That was an old one of mine, Ian, but the least popular of my YouTube vids...But, thanks for the comment :)

Peter, that was a first class video - superb aerobatic display especially couple with atmospheric scenery :welldone:
Thoroughly enjoyed that.

Have not yet looked at the video section Rob but will do tomorrow, brilliant idea and hope it becomes well used and watched. Think I may very well post at the Pond instead of You Tube in future should all the little niggles eventually be sorted, in fact this week-end I may well be tempted to do a remake of my very first vid with the JP using a variety of camera positions as apposed to Tower View that I previously used.

Nigel.
