I live in Poole so I am quite willing to pop over to the airport to get some pics if that helps.

Don't know how recent this is, but it looks as if the end is near.

I don't know as I can't get that link..it loads and loads until it corrupts IE

It has been semi derelict for 18 months or so but moves to scrap it were curtailed as there have been various moves to preserve it.

The official line has been iminent scrapping since Dec 2007.

I can't even be sure it's still there....it has not been reported as scrapped.

There are only tw CL-44 left in the world.....a Yukon in Uraguay in derelict but fairly complete and this one. The Yukon has the Britannia type flight deck so would be no good here :'(

But for the CL-44-6 it could be...any Uraguyans on the forum??

Image is 2 years old. Going to Wimborne market tomorrow so I'll drive by and have a look.

Other half will no doubt be impressed with that idea! :excited:
