Gents
this is a entry posted by Larry's sister. It better discribes the loss we have suffered.
Larry was my brother. "Larger than life" doesn't begin to describe him. He was a real-life action/adventure hero. Many of the exciting things actors pretend to do in James Bond movies and others Larry did for real and did exceptionally well.He flew DC-10 jumbo jets, all sorts of airplanes, helicopters, gliders, seaplanes, powered paragliders, and hang-gliders. He was an expert marksman and won many shooting championships.Larry was an expert scuba diver and dove famous sites all over the world; he started Sport Diver Magazine many years ago and later sold it. It is still published. He invented several types of paintball guns. He loved fast cars and fast motorcycles. Larry won several trophies racing. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. The list of his accomplishments is too long to list here. Suffice it to say that he was my hero, and I miss him so very much. He's safely in Heaven now, flying high forevermore.
