In an attempt to blast some of the festive cobwebs away, I had a wander through Almondell park in West Lothian earlier today... here are some of the shots....
Begins with quite a stiff climb:



Disused Camps railway viaduct, with a 'protective' walkway to prevent anyone getting crushed by falling masonry.... no idea how useful it would be, and the viaduct is in use as part of the national cycle network..









Naysmith's bridge at the bottom of the East Calder area of the park. This bridge over the Almond was a complete ruin until fairly recently, all that remained was the centre arch with no sides. The green iron bridge a couple of shots up was the crossing until this was repaired - I reckon it's a fantastic job!
