Thanks for the correction. I guess my thinking was a bit snowy.
To correct the record Dulles (KIAD) got 32.4 inches, all time record for Dulles. Reagan National (KDCA) got 17.5 but that is misleading since it is located almost on the Potomac River. Meteoroligists around here always complain that readings from that location don't represent the area well. Tempereatures are usually higher than the rest of the area and snow totals lower.
Global Warming? What Global warming? Actually I saw a news bit on Auntie that stated that while my part of the US and the UK and much of Europe have neen colder than normal, the polar region has been warmer than normal and the ice caps are still receding. Go figure.
Leif - Actually saw a 767 fly over while I was shovelling snow today so I know KIAD is open again (I live around three miles from the airport)
On topic - they are predicting another 5 inches of snow late Tuesday into Wednesday. Ahhhg! No, no, no! Enough Already!

Are you Clairvoyant? Do you have a special insight from the weather gods? They now predict 10-20 more inches starting noon tommorow!
Please have mercy - enough already.
I already do that but thanks for being so thoughtful. WD40 is a very useful product and solves many problems - rusty bolts, squeeky hinges and so on. It does not appear to do much for my achy back though!
