Eshott Airfield for FSX and GenX released!

Post by Trev Clark »

Here is my latest scenery, somewhere to explore the wilds of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. A bit of an oasis in an aviation desert!

Loads of eye candy, traffic (road and air) and even a classic British roadside eatery, should you fancy salmanella!!!!

It should be released on Friday at FS.com.

Great stuff Trev, and fairly local for me too, drive past it whenever I head up to Edinburgh

Another interesting one up this way is Albermarle Barricks, formerly RAF Ouston. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAF_Ouston

Hi Ben, yes that area is a bit barren for good airfields, Ouston is a possible, but I have a pile of books waiting for me in the UK next week that will keep me busy for months....

Wisley, Hatfield, Bicester, Portsmouth Airport and RAE Bedford plus the next one Breighton, which I am suprised nobody has done before.

Well as you know I'd love to see Bedford as there is a certain VC10 and a few comets that I'll set up as AI ;)

Gary Summons did Breighton for FS9 and it will be in VFR Airfields Volume 3.

While you are at it Ben you could also consider including the RAE Canberra which operated there for some time.

Two reasons why I am doing Breighton, Vol 3 will not be out for at least 6 months and will be payware, oh, and a third reason, having used UK2000 stuff for years, I think that a lot of the time mine has more details!!!
