Pretty standard parking shot really.....busy with airstairs at both starboard doors...pax from the port, looks like a quick turn round

Yup.. slightly unusual in that the aircraft usually parked LH side-to and you don't get to see much of what is happening on the RH side. EchoEcho's airstairs are down on the LH side so with the service stairs up on the RH side with all doors open, it does look like a 'quickie'
Bet it's b1oody cold onboard too!

'EE was BEA's first and did a lot of the route proving and first services. I just wonder if this is a part of that.........like a new toy you just have to play with all the gadgets for the first week and then you just can't be arsed

That could be it. With most if not all of the gadgets still working then, it'd have been rude not to use them all

Personally I think the biggest mistake was not producing or even modify a freight door equipped pax quick change with the ability to mix and match the combination to suit with complete pax interior sections on pallets to be loaded in .
That would have opened up a market just for itself as it could and did fly in and out of airport that could not take QC jets
But there ya go.....it wasn't and that's that
