If your going to be visiting the Colonies and flying into or connecting at New York's JFK there is some good news. As of 6 July, runway 31L/13R reopens. This should help alleviate delays. The widened runway has been repaved with concrete rather than asphalt and should be able to handle the A380.
Oh, the project actually finished within the alloted $376 million budget.
