Re: Viscount model
Well eat my shorts! That's a right Bobby Dazzler
This reminds me.. we have a wind tunnel Vanguard model somewhere at Brooklands only recently donated. I gather it's far too big to display in the real aircraft
I must try and seek it out one day

Re: Viscount model
Being an old picture, it's obviously been around a while. It would be nice to have more info on its history.

Re: Viscount model
The menu said they were plans for a control line model.
That would be a hell of weight to hang on to while spinning round in circles.

Re: Viscount model
I mention It's plans in the original post
I would think
.......judging but the three liveries which detail are given, that it dates from the early-mid fifties when control line was more common...well probably the main way then

Re: Viscount model
You certainly did.
It was the control line bit that surprised me although it probably shouldn't have. I have seen large control line models flown at a championship at Little Rissington in the early 70s.
I built a couple of control line models myself, not having the money for R/C gear.
