I haven't seen her for a few years now, but what a brilliant display. The Dutch F-16 was excellent too, but alas no exciting paint scheme this year.

I was considering going on Sunday as I wanted to see a B-52 in flight, I've only previously seen the one at Duxford and one at a Greenham Common display. This afternoon, while I was walking the Hounds, it cruised over Whitby so I got a very good view of it. After about 20 minutes it again passed over Whitby but this time in and out of clouds.

Yep I was quite looking forward to seeing the B-52 too, but to be honest all it did was fly in from the south, along the beach, turn back south and climb away, very disapointing. The Harrier and Typhoon were pretty good, but I don't think it would be worth the trip up from Whitby to see the B52.
