If it's registered in Southampton it's British
I wonder if their accountants registered a bigger than expected turnover that year
Looks impressive

Funny.. the mention of Poseidon reminds me more of Leslie Neilson in one of his few 'straight' roles than anything else
Wasn't the ship from the film rather older looking than that model??
Dunno now.. been a few years since I've seen it (although the sequal has been on the box far too many times)

On the older film they used models of the Queen Mary and filmed on the liners and had sets based on the Mary's interior
Every time I watched that I was expecting Leslie to say something daft as in his comedy roles he was just as straight faced

Ah yes.. I'd forgotten there was a TV version (so memorable it must have been)
Look at this link and check the preview of the original..

You can just imagine Leslie Neilson saying on the phone. "We'd just like to wish you both, good luck"

They remade Poseidon Adventure a few years ago for reasons that are beyond the wit of man. This looks like the version from that, although I've only seen trailers for it.

I
think I might have caught the tail-end of it a few weeks ago (thank goodness). The goodies got out through one of the bow thrusters (which by magic were still running).. escaping the baddies by lobbing a gas cylinder into it
Pony.. complete and utter Pony!
