Hi guys
Had the best news of my life yesterday. My wife is pregnant!
Still not really sunk in yet. Not sure it will for a few weeks.
Bloody terrible timing though. We were due to go to New York next February for her birthday. I had booked it as a surprise trip.
Not sure that's gonna happen now as she will be over seven months gone when we are due to fly.
Guess we will see what the Doc says nearer the time.
Not too bothered either way as I'm over the moon with the news.
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.

Many congrats Eddie
I'm sure the good lady won't mind you going to NY on your own mate. Wives are very understanding like that

Great news, presumably a rhetorical question, or is everything sub-contracted to Polish plumbers these days - us auld ph*rts are so out of touch with the modern ways.
The answer to the travel problem is obvious, just advertise for a nubile Swedish au-pair with the same name as your wife and take her along instead. Simples.

Eddie - congratulations to you and your wife! It will change your life in ways you can't even imagine right now. As others have advised - get plenty of sleep while you both can.
