Considering I bought a very high spec PC just before last Christmas, with one of the first DX11 spec 1GB gfx cards and I can't run FSX on max makes me wonder......not in a good way either.austerdriver wrote:Its good news to here that there will be another Flight Simulator released.

Weighing up this new sim and the costs of a fresh PC thats gonna run it.
I reckon its potentially cheaper to go for your PPL and part share a C172.

Re: MS 'Flight' announced.
Saying that my desktop i7 PC struggled to run that video.
Not sure why?
Can't see me changing from FSX for a long time. Especially since my wife is carrying a mini Vegas.

I never even saw the video...say I need a codec and any attempt to download the needed one fails as it does with all codecs.

You aint missing much mate. Its not that good. I reckon the finished article will be very much more scaled down than the clip we saw.
