That would be an answer to your starter problems..
Make a nice warehouse or a cinema attached to the pub

Re: Wanna buy a Belfast?
How you counted up the stash in your loose change jar??
National lottery grant...It's an historic artefact and a work of art
it's also an object of special interest....what other modern handle can you use to help the case.
How about since it's big is is like a separate area so it could be classed as an area of outstanding natural ugliness
Seriously though..it isthe largest aeroplane ever built in the UK.....by volume at least.....surely that counts for something.
Since there is one in RAF colours at Cosford I doubt if the interest is there
They could use it to fly fat arsed VIP's to the Olympics in 2012

Hhhmmmm... just under a million Aussie dollars. That's about £10 each to us 20 non-crims.

Re: Wanna buy a Belfast?

It would be nice to see it back in the UK............I've only ever seen one in flight..only once and the two at Southend when I popped in in 1988.

The aircraft should be preserved in a museum. Its the last surviving Belfast that I am aware of.

Re: Wanna buy a Belfast?
There's one in a UK museum.I think it's Cosford.
So ten percent of them are already preserved
The Belfast is the only aircraft to use the same Tynes as the Vanguard so a good source of spares for Dave....they can have the old ones in exchange.
