I like the paint scheme on the Belfast that is already preserved . Very clean and simple looking.

Standard RAF Transport Command.the only livery they wore with the RAF :)

I thought the Belfasts Tynes were incompatible with the Vanguard? *-)

Exactly wrong mate :lol: As Garry said.. the Belfast is the only aircraft with compatible Tynes which is why HL wanted our 4 engines a couple of years back ;)

Which is why I thought it odd when Heavylift took the tynes from the CL-44-O for the Belfast or so it was said *-)

It appears now to have been for a different reason...ownership dispute :)

Yes indeed. A LOT of politics behind the scenes.. stuff being owed.. stuff being taken in lieu e t c. There are of course common components between engine variations so HL were keen to get their hands on whatever came their way :)
