Sad.but not surprised
They've been struggling fo a long time and recently sought bankruptcy protection
It was them that found the Comet slightly too small and discussions with DH resulted in the use of 4B fuse on the long range wing became the 4C.

Well, according to AeroTransport, they did enter Bankruptcy and just last week 95% of their shares were bought by an investment group, so there's a chance they may reenter service as a fully reorganized company.
