Lewis, sorry to read of your woes in getting there. If you can make it tomorrow, the show is well worthwhile. The highlight being the 16 Spitfires. I Was stood at the M11 end, just about as far as I could get. The Spits were everywhere and so low overhead. Probably the best display I have ever seen.Lewis - a2a wrote:How'd it go?
We got to within 2miles by 10am, the next mile however took 2hours 30mins so had to give up and turn around![]()
Absolutly shocking traffic. New plan of attack is to attend Sunday waking up early and leaving at 6am to assure enterance!
No probs, Tony. I posted this quite late last night.tonymadge wrote:Sorry I did not read your post re meeting, prior to going.
'Noise', Tony? Surely you mean 'Symphony'.tonymadge wrote:to see 16 Spits going at it all at once, the noise was wonderful![]()
Agreed. As I said above, the 16 Spits were easily the highlight of the show. The Red Arrows having to fly an '8 Ship' formation due to Red 2 going US on route was unusual. Other highlights included a 4 ship Hurricane display, and as Tony says the Belgian F16.
Photos to follow.
Added - the Flightsim show is somewhat if a letdown.
Regards
Kevin
