Managed to get in Sunday nice and early. Plenty of time to take my housemate around all the museum before the actual show started. Both of us loved it.
The flightsim show I though was quite good, plenty of kids getting in on the demos and thats what its all the about. Flight1 had three pc's all running a LAN session with multiple kids all enjoying watching each other land. Had a good chat with Derek at PC Pilot, very nice chap and must have been gossiping to him for a good 30-40mins about all manner of things. Also had a good chat to the RC Simulations fellow re: his rather nice spitfire control layout. 6K is a bit steep but I was amazed to see al of those controls so nicely tied into a single USB so FS picks it up out of the box. Managed to pick up rise of flight on the cheap from flight 1 and also gave in and got VFR airfields vol3 so I can now finally fly from a decent humberside again.
16 spitfires was absolutly mind blowing. Seeing the birds all take off together and fly off in formation right after take, just WOW!
Plenty of car alarms going on for the F16 display, damn how much fuel did he use, afterburner here we come!
Only dissappointment for me is ive had to have today of work due to stomach cramps and sickness, I can only think is was that bloody cheese burger I had at duxford

and also that the I couldnt get in Saturday to meet up with Paul for some mutual bitching.
