Out of interest

Blue Islands Jetstreams don't have a cabin attendant....one of the iulots looks after any needs and the cockpit door remains wide open...just ring and he comes into the cabin...it was the captain on the filight I was on.

When Aurigny operated Short 360 between Guernsy and Jersey the co pilot left the seat and did cabin duty after take off returning to the flightdeck for landing.

Trislanders and Islanders just have a pilot

I don't think though this is a good idea on a 737 with a longish flight compared to the examples above.

The Blue Islands Jetstream is fine. No requirement for cabin crew 19 seats and under, however the Aurigny one sounds a bit naughty.

A cabin attendant is needed in the cabin for safety which is why I've never understood why 17 seats ius OK and why if any bigger they need two pilot.

The Bandeirante was another that only had one pilot and no attendant back in the days of Jersey European.

Bandeirante was certified for single crew operation back when. Under todays reg's (EU-Ops) as it has more than 9 seats and for operation under IFR or at night it would require 2 pilots now. Cabin crew, no requirement for 19 seats or less. Over 19 seats it's 1 cabin crew member per 50 seats or fraction of 50.
