XH558 'over the road' at Brize

Post by Chris558 »

I've been meaning to capture this moment for a while. Here she is on return from Jersey last Thursday (9th) in the late afternoon warm sunshine....

Hmm.. I'd like to think the crew 'show boated' a bit and did more than one approach (though they should know Brize like the back of their hands now) Hope you had your anorak on too for 'being there' at the right time ;)

Indeed she did do more than one approach - an overshoot and then circuit to land!

Nice shot :)

They're on their usual mission again....three weeks and the money runs out and the crew gets four weeks notice.............if no one coughs up it's grounded....etc.

It would be amusing if the RAF bought it and put into service in a display role only. Would solve the money problems heh
