This clip shows the factory on the east side of the Brooklands site, prior to and after demolition:

Andy's Video.. I might have guessed  The lady wearing not a lot during the end trailer is his missus btw! :worried:

What a tease that video is. I wanted to see more of Brooklands and more of Pompey harbour (preferably with the benefit of image stabilization!) 8)

Thanks for that Toby ;)

Nice one Toby

Great memories of Racing our Motorbikes inside the long hangar on a Saturday morning.
125 mph before braking at the other end.

Was made redundant later in the year (81) and joined the Navy instead.

only to discover that the bad joint in the middle was actually an 18" gap in the concrete!
What ever happened to Mate Tony Brand (his dad was a Trident Capt at the time)

Regards
Rick

It looks like Andy shot that in 1988 or 1989. The VC10 and Varsity are there but not much else, early days for the museum.

Oh dear, Andy's been uploading more videos, there goes the evening. ;)
Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.
