Anyone know the status as to whether any are still operated.??
Not seen much evidence recently and G-FIJR has been sold in Canada.
G-FIZU would be the only one I think if still flying
I would expect the type to become a victim of the West Air take over sooner or later and there has been another ATP taken on strength recently.

Hi Ad
there have been a lot of comings and going over the years in the UK....What I'm trying to find out is if Atlantic are still using the type.
I was seeing them regular until early August.

Asked a chap who's at Coventry working on the Shackleton.
They still have a few Electras flying in and out, additionally 1 DC-6 is static the other is used for rides and displays.
Shackleton is getting repainted into Coastal command colours.

G-LOFE was reported at EGNX in September and October.
I saw one there early September which might have been this one

Hi Ian
G-FIZU would be the remainer so they must have re activated 'FE which was wfu. A bit like Air Bridge with the Vanguards they do bring bring stored machines back from time to time.
G-LOFD has was in service last year.

Ps he says there are 3 or 4 in the green and white Atlantique colours, and at least one in Reeve Aluetian colours.

Hi Darren
Yep.I know about those....there are several in the green livery in various states of storage at leat one is damaged.
That is from the time when they were active but there are never more than two active now.
