Mount Cook Airlines HS.748 (1977 livery)
Dear folks!
Time for another "screaming Hawker":
It's ZK-CWJ "Aorangi" in its 1977 livery, as shown here:
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Mount-Co ... 0004616/L/
Early WIP still...
Has anyone an idea about the lettering on the aft fuselage, right below the registration?
Haven't found any closeups yet...
Cheers,
Markus.

Thanks a lot, mate!
That did it:
As you can see, the window's and door's outline width also is corrected.
Now for the starboard side..
Cheers,
Markus.

Strange thing about the blue shade:
Although some pics at airliners.net (link above) do show the kind of blue I used in the first place, the folks over at nzff.org "insisted" on a lighter blue:

This one here is said to come close to the real one:
Just some final tweaks necessary...
Cheers,
Markus.

Hi Markus
The photoreal engine textures look good in your other forum thread mate
I have never been very good at metal
Nice to see the 748 is still being used as for me it's my best model
Regards
Rick

Take an educated guess which repaint will be derivated from ZK-CWJ once she's ready?
I could use a little help on details then, but luckily I know where to ask...
@ Rick:
Ian Warren over at nzff did those great blank metal nacelles and 'm waiting for these textures to paste them on my paint.
I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you and all those involved for this awesome aircraft!
(Although as a painter I'm not too happy with the plethora of paints the package came with - not too much left for me to do... )
Cheers,
Markus.
