It's no great disaster Peter.. not for me anyway.. that is unless I find a Trident so parked then the might of AFCAD will be unleashed on it ;) A nice airport and the best rendition of Ben Gurion I've seen.. not forgetting it's freeware!

It is also fitted with AES for just two credits, so I have activated it and it works just fine

Thanks for the recommendation Peter, I'd not seen that one.
Got it now and it is good.

You're welcome Dave M...I think the Trident 2 did some Tel Aviv services but as I was never actually on that fleet, I can't be sure :)

Think you're right Peter, our VA has a Trident 2 route to Tel Aviv from Heathrow.
Normally a bit far for me to fly that is, but it's included on the Cyprus T2 routes from Nicosia too, so I'll certainly be using it. :)

Lovely looking airport, Peter.

As far as classic flights go, I've got two visits to TLV in my logbook for the 70s. A super VC10 and a bit of a strange one. A B707-436, G-ARRA, using BEA flight numbers in 1976. BE484/BE485 but I've no recollection of it so I don't know what I was doing. Perhaps substituting for a Trident ...

In the 80s I used to visit regularly when I worked Tristars for a couple of years. It didn't look much like that, though!

Hi Ian :hello:

That would be it mate. BE484/485 was the scheduled daily Trident flight LHR-Tel Aviv-LHR

That's what I like about this place.

It doesn't matter that I can't remember anything. Somebody, somewhere has a record of everything I've done!

Cheers,Dave

I can't remember what I've done let alone what you might have done! Fortunately, my summer '73 BEA/BA Timetable was at hand and put us both out of our misery ;)

Peter..

Every time I've been to LLBG, I've found something parked in the wall inbetween J8 and J9 and although I said it didn't matter.. it did  I've adjusted the parking space and found a Cyprus Viscount parked where it should be ;) If you want the modded af2, I'll send it/post it ;)

BTW.. have you tried rebuilding your FSNav database since you installed LLBG?? I have.. many times and it won't remake :wall: Have a look at LLBG in afcad and you'll see 5 or 6 files associated with that install number. The top few appear to be sign.bgls. Not sure if my FSNav has reached it's limit or if it simply won't remake the database with LLBG installed 8) The runway placement is as the default so flying there isn't a problem ;)
