I agree wholeheartedly, NSN's books are great stuff!

Chris,

I have done data collection myself and there were some nice finds along the way. I have three 3-views including your version, and the one in the database article (which has fuse sectionals), plus one other. These are sufficient to do a reasonable model. My biggest concern was lack of cockpit pictures, drawings, or schematics. At any rate, I would be happy to share my collection with you if you (or anyone else who...) are interested.

see Chris!? things are coming along, lets see what Milton has to offer here :welldone:
I almost bid on a nice BEA Ambassador Operators Manual, but £148 is a bit too steep for me right now... :(
but maybe the seller is anice guy and accepts a lower offer!?!....
let me try that....later, ;)

Hi Milton, Rui, et al,

I apologize for the late reply. I finally obtained the Aeroplane magazine issue that Dave kindly suggested and it does contain some very good information! For those interested and for Dave to get part of his magazine back :) here are:

Rui, you've been very kind with your messages and Milton, I do appreciate your offer. I did install FSX after using FS9 for a number of years, however I do not have the version with the SDK (been doing some reading). I will need to figure the SDK part out and I suppose if i did this that I would use the most recent version of FSDS. However, I still have not decided if I have the time to give this a proper go or not. I mentioned to Rui in a PM that I also build free flight models and the engine nacelles on the Ambassador look to make it feasable for two rubber motors... so I may opt for that. A four year old child is also a deciding factor and if I have enough energy remaining each evening. I apologize for getting any hopes up. I have not called it quits yet but I don't see anything happening just now.
