Your adventures just get better and better, Peter. I was in awe at the screenshot that showed the full IFR panel from the Captain's viewpoint. What an amazing add-on. I wish I had the patience to fly something like that.
A bit of a technical question for you. I notice that the autothrottle was armed but speed hold wasn't selected in any of the shots. Were you adjusting the speed manually or does the FMC control it?

Ian,
You will see that LNAV and VNAV were both selected (Lateral Navigation and Vertical Navigation). When VNAV is operating it has complete control of the throttles.
I was fascinated by Orion ( including the nebula as far as I could see) and the Pleiades , and will now go looking at my star file! Thanks for some splendid pictures Peter EDIT : I checked my stars .dat but it is much smaller c.76kb . Where can I obtain the larger file for FS2004 please?

Peter : thank you so much for that . It's a super add-on which i never dreamed of! I've now found a bubble sextant as well which I shall try out ( although whether the tables are available is doubtful) : dc3_bbsx.zip available at avsim

Yes, The product comes with Shockwave lights but their alignment is wrong at the moment and they do not light the ground...This will all be fixed in the Service Pack. I'm not entirely in favour of Shockwave lights although I do have some fitted to various Traffic aircraft...I dislike their appearance when they are on in daylight.
