I know what you mean about the CS757, Dave. In my previous sim life it was the last straw for me
If you don't have an i7 processor plus a brace of graphics cards it's a constant juggling act. Aircraft or airports? AI or empty sky? It's even harder with FSX, isn't it?
After a lot of serious consideration (read: a split second decision after a couple of pints

), I opted for FSX with no frills for my new installation (apart from Accleration and Kai Tak, obviously). So I can optimise my limited FS time on flying a handful of 'satisfying' aircraft. My airports (except VHHX) are drab, deserted places so my flights usually end at the turn-off point - if I don't crash before

On the other hand it gives me the resources to fly the CS757 with healthy frame rates. In fact, it gives about the same fps as the 1-11 and Trident in FSX and doesn't suffer from the W7/legacy games/sound card issue (discussed elsewhere) that DM's fleet are prone to on my laptop.
So not many screenies from me now as I don't have the backgrounds to show off, but at least I can concentrate on my flying technique. I might even learn the FMC
Out of interest, my limited fleet of 'very satisfying aircraft to fly' so far consists of DG's Hunters, Rick's 748 and the CS757. But as far as jetliners go, my all time favourites are a tie between DM's 1-11 and Erick's 732 (+ tinmouse panel) - neither of which I'm able to use in my FSX setup. D'oh!
