Lovely stuff. The F9F has to be one of the best looking aircraft of its time, and that's a terrific model. Not sure I have a use for it in FSX, but then I don't really have a use for A2A's Uhu...and I just bought that. Anyway, hats off to Vertigo for doing such a handsome aircraft justice. I hope its a huge success for them. :)

I love vintage jets, but just hope it does not suffer from the large number of customer 'comments' that the Bearcat had!

Well, it's not British, but I'm far too impatient to wait....

I've always loved the F9F Panther. Its reactive, yet quick flying experience is anything expected from a Cold War fan, although personally, I prefer World War II ones.

I don't fly Chipmunks - therefore I should be ranked as an Auster!

I have to agree, the F9F is gorgeous, both as a real aircraft, and in this Vertigo form. Hats off to them, very nice models and lovely repaints. I love early cold war jets, especially straight-wingers, so nice to see something other than an F-16 done. Makes me want to take a stab at another fave of mine, the Banshee. All the best to Vertigo as well, when I transition to X (a dark day) next year I will have to pick this up for sure.

Shows you how reliable/trusted the Nene pattern was back then, even if it was quickly supplanted by better-rated engines.
