Concorde Performance Data

Post by Tonks »

Thought this might be of interest... was given this document the other day. Not a particularly good read  but fascinating non-the-less:

Also got a copy of the Operating Data Manuals for Dominie, Andover, Jetstream and an early VC10 C1...

There's far more performance data there than I could ever manage. Perf data I have for the Dove is more than enough and that is suitably dwarfed by that monster

That's an interesting document. I've got a few Concorde documents but not stuff like this. This seems to be either for planning purposes or to familiarise personnel with its capabilities. It would be interesting to compare it to the performance of the FS model ;)
Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

Hi Jelle,

It is very much a planning document much like the VC10' s one... It would certainly be useful for checking the accuracy of the model that's for sure!!

Did you get that off some dodgy looking Russian ex-Tupolev employee who you met on a park bench in Hyde Park and who referred to you as Red Squirrel?

I say that as I'd have thought Airbus would have shredded all theirs by now as part of their plot to make sure it never flies again.
